Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy Statement
Introduction
CarbonQuota is committed to preventing acts of modern slavery and human trafficking from occurring within both its business and supply chain. We recognize our responsibility to be alert to the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking, however small, within our business operations and wider supply chain. This statement sets out our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships.
Our business structure
CarbonQuota is carbon management and reduction business based in the United Kingdom. We employ 20 people and operate primarily in London.
Our policies
We operate the following policies that support our approach to the identification of modern slavery risks and steps to be taken to prevent slavery and human trafficking in our operations:
- Whistleblowing policy – we encourage all employees, customers, and suppliers to report any suspicion of slavery or human trafficking without fear of retaliation.
- Employee code of conduct – our code makes clear to employees the actions and behaviour expected of them when representing our organization.
- Supplier code of conduct – we expect all suppliers to operate in accordance with our values and maintain high standards regarding slavery and human trafficking.
Due diligence processes
As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk, we:
- Map our supply chain to assess particular product or geographical risks
- Evaluate all new suppliers through our supplier assessment process
- Conduct supplier audits where deemed necessary
- Protect whistle-blowers through our confidential reporting process
Risk assessment
We have conducted a risk assessment of our business activities and supply chains, focusing particularly on:
- Geographical risk areas
- Business services where labour is sourced via third parties
- Manufacturing and trade of physical goods
Looking ahead
We will continue to enhance our procedures to help us identify, prevent and mitigate any risks of modern slavery or human trafficking in relation to new and existing suppliers.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 31/3/25.
